Happy House will have at the Elmira site before school care from 7:30 – 9:00 and after school care from 3:00 – 4:00. Please let us know if you are interested in this program.

We are so pleased that you have chosen to entrust us with your child’s education and we are committed to providing a wonderful, age appropriate experience. About Happy House
The Happy House Nursery and Pre-K has a rich history with the Elmira community. We have provided high quality programs in this geographic area for 40 plus years. We serve children 3 to 5 years of age. We have been located at First Presbyterian Church since 1984. In the 30 plus years of operation, the Happy House Nursery has successfully educated approximately 3,500 students. Many of our graduates have returned with their own children. We have enrolled many children in our classes whose families have transferred to Elmira arriving with limited English proficiency. We have helped their parents prepare word lists in both English and their native languages. We also try to learn their language – an adventure for all! We have welcomed children from Turkey, Poland, Sweden, China, Japan, Vietnam, and India. In the Fall of 2006, Happy House was very pleased to open a satellite program in the First United Methodist Church in Horseheads.
